NBCIn 1991, kids everywhere learned that talking to the "Man in the Moon" is totally normal and if you don't pay the bills your washing machine will be repossessed thanks to the NBC sitcom (which was later syndicated on the Disney Channel) The Torkelsons. Millicent Torkelson and her many children endured life in Oklahoma over two seasons and taught some very valuable life lessons along the way.
Now, over 22 years have passed and, well, we've all aged — and stopped wanting to go by our first and middle names. Here's what the Torkelson family looks like now:
Millicent Torkelson (Connie Ray)
NBC, GettyRay continued in showbiz after her Torkelsons run and has starred on episodes of ER, Entourage, My Name is Earl, Hart of Dixie, and Law & Order: SVU since the '90s. She most recently had a role in Showtime's The Big C and was featured in an episode of Blue Bloods in 2013.
Dorothy Jane Torkelson (Olivia Burnette)
NBC, Olivia BurnetteThis child star stuck around in Hollywood as well. She was featured on TV shows here and there over the years, including CSI: NY, The Closer, and Dexter. She played a homeless woman in 9 episodes of Sons of Anarchy from 2008-2013.
Ruth Anne Torkelson (Anna Slotky)
NBC, FacebookThe '90s were good to this actress. She moved on from The Torkelsons to star on Sister, Sister and a couple of episodes of Third Rock from the Sun before leaving her acting career behind. She then went to school, became a lawyer, and currently works as a real estate agent.
Steven Floyd Torkelson (Aaron Michael Metchik)
NBC, GettyAfter being written off The Torkelsons in the first season, Metchik went on to have guest-starring roles in shows like Party of Five, Life with Louie, and Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. In more recent years, he's turned to work behind the camera too. He wrote, produced, directed, and starred in Ten Years Later in 2009.
Mary Sue Torkelson (Rachel Duncan)
NBC, PAXWell, after starring alongside Mel Gibson in What Women Want in 2000, this gal vanished off the radar as far as her acting career goes. Between playing the tiniest Torkelson and that movie, she starred in the TV movie Smart House and an episode of Step By Step, among other things. She's 29 now.
Chuckie Lee Torkelson (Lee Norris)
NBC, GettyNorris was adorable as Torkelson kid, but his real claim to fame was as Minkus on Boy Meets World. After his adorakable days, he was on One Tree Hill for almost a decade. In 2014, he starred on an episode of Girl Meets World and plays an officer in Gone Girl.
Wesley Hodges (William Schallert)
NBC, GettySchallet had already spent almost five decades in the spotlight when he started living in the Torkelsons' basement so they could pay the bills. (Seriously, his IMDb page is SO long.) He's currently 92 and still going strong. In 2014 he starred as an elevator operator on Two Broke Girls and played Mayor Norris on True Blood from 2008 to 2011.
Jeff Thornton (Joey Lawrence)
NBC, GettyAt the height of his Blossom fame in 1993, Lawrence starred on an episode of season 2 (when the show was renamed Almost Home) as Jeff, the assistant manager of the fried chicken restaurant where Dorothy Jane worked. Now the actor has far less hair and a very fake tan and can be seen on Melissa & Joey.
