It's no secret that Zimbio editors love their television. In fact, you may say that we're completely obsessed. 2015 was an amazing year for the small screen. Make some room in your DVR and check them out!

Editor's Picks: The Best of 2015 in TV
Amazon

Best Show on TV: Transparent. Tears, laughter, drama...it has something for everyone. The acting is also the best you'll see on television the internet.
Favorite New TV Show: Quantico. Everyone is super pretty and you're always on the edge of your seat. Not convinced? Read this.
Favorite TV Character: Cookie from Empire. She's my spirit animal.
OMG TV Moment: #WhoShotAnnalise. I predicted the highly-publicized outcome of How to Get Away with Murder's midseason finale (let me take a moment to brush my shoulders off), but the final scene and the unexpected connection between Annalise and Wes was a shocker!
Reality TV Guilty Pleasure: Little Women: LA, RuPaul's Drag Race & Teen Mom Originals. Also, does Shark Tank count?
Show That Needs to Be Canceled in 2016: Once Upon a Time. This show has taken every creative liberty imaginable. Stop. For the love of God, stop.
Old Show That Deserves a Re-Boot in 2016: Are You Afraid of the Dark? Because it scared the crap out of me as a kid and today's youth deserves the same treatment.

Editor's Picks: The Best of 2015 in TV
CW

Best Show on TV: The 100
Favorite New TV Show: Jessica Jones. The badass real superhero we’ve all been waiting for. Mr. Robot is a very close second.
Favorite TV Character: Jane Villanueva of Jane the Virgin. Gina Rodriguez got all the attention (and the Golden Globe) last year, and she continues to be a pure delight in this gem of a show.
OMG TV Moment: The last two episodes of the second season of The 100 genuinely shocked me, which is hard to do at this point because I watch a hell of a lot of TV. The 100 manages to be both fearless and unflinching, but also true to its characters and their motivations. It’s a brutal world and there are no good guys, but that’s the point.
Reality TV Guilty Pleasure: America’s Next Top Model. I’m genuinely sad that it’s over.
Show That Needs to Be Canceled in 2016: American Idol could have (and probably should have) ended a few seasons ago, but I admit I’m looking forward to its last hurrah. Give me a duet between Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood and I’ll forget all about Lee Dewyze.
Old Show That Deserves a Re-Boot in 2016: Does Dawson’s Creek deserve a reboot? Not really. But would I watch it? HELL YES.

Editor's Picks: The Best of 2015 in TV
Cinemax

Best Show on TV: The Knick. It makes you really realize how far modern medicine has come.
Favorite New TV Show: Master of None. This show gets me.
Favorite TV Character: Jessica Jones
OMG TV Moment: Warriors win Game 6 against the Cleveland Cavaliers to clinch the 2015 NBA Championship. OMFG/F--- Yeah!
Reality TV Guilty Pleasure: MasterChef Junior. It turns out great TV like this:

Show That Needs to Be Canceled in 2016: Pretty Little Liars. They've strung me along for too damn long.
Old Show That Deserves a Re-Boot in 2016: The '80s fantasy/alien sitcom Out of This World. Plus the theme song is super catchy.

FX

Best Show on TV: Fargo
Favorite New TV Show: Master of None
Favorite TV Character: Lorne Malvo (Fargo)

Old Show That Deserves a Re-Boot in 2016: Family Matters

JJ DUNCAN (SENIOR EDITOR)

HBO

Best Show on TV: Game of Thrones
Favorite New TV Show: Master of None
Favorite TV Character: Tyrion Lannister
OMG TV Moment: Key and Peele's Gremlins 2 sketch
Reality TV Guilty Pleasure: Does Lip Sync Battle count?
Show That Needs to Be Canceled in 2016: Big Bang Theory
Old Show That Deserves a Re-Boot in 2016: The X-Files, and it's really happening!

Editor's Picks: The Best of 2015 in TV
FOX

Best Show on TV: The Mindy Project (It's crazy how little love this show gets, and that some people still haven't discovered the magic of Mindy Kaling!)
Favorite New TV Show: Master of None (Aziz Ansari all day, everyday)
Favorite TV Character: Deandra “Sweet Dee” Reynolds and Charlie Kelly from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
OMG TV Moment: Peggy Olson walking into the hallway like a boss with her sunglasses on and a cigarette in her mouth. This woman knows how to challenge the status quo with style, and she was the best part of Mad Men. Where's Elizabeth Moss' Emmy, though? Seriously?!
Reality TV Guilty Pleasure: All the Real Housewives' franchises on Bravo. (Don't judge me! I'm a weak, weak soul.)
Show That Needs to Be Canceled in 2016: Scream Queens (It's atrocious and all the Chanels dress like Furbies.)
Old Show That Deserves a Re-Boot in 2016: Freaks & Geeks (I need to know what happened when Lindsay got into the van at the very end).

JOE ROBBERSON (Senior Associate Editor)

Editor's Picks: The Best of 2015 in TV
NBC

Best Show on TV: Fargo (Hannibal close second)
Favorite New TV Show: Mr. Robot
Favorite TV Character: Tyrion Lannister, Game of Thrones
OMG TV Moment: Kevin pushes the girl in the well on The Leftovers.
Reality TV Guilty Pleasure: MasterChef
Show That Needs to Be Canceled in 2016: The Big Bang Theory
Old Show That Deserves a Re-Boot in 2016: Bosom Buddies
