Bill Murray is riding this Cubs win all the way home.

After the Chicago team's historic World Series win against the Cleveland Indians on Thursday, the legendary comedian hit SNL to celebrate.

Posing as just another one of the team's star players, Murray sang "Go, Cubs, Go," danced, and partook of the revelry alongside real life Cubs Anthony Rizzo, David Ross and Dexter Fowler. The four were in attendance to celebrate winning gold in the Weekend Update segment's "The Voice" contest.

Of the win, Rizzo said, "It's unbelievable," while Ross said, "I can't describe it," and Fowler chimed in, "This is the best thing we've ever done."

Winning the World Series probably wasn't too bad either.

"You on the end, you look familiar," host Colin Jost addressed Murray. "Did you used to work here?"

"I did," Murray responded curtly, "but that was so many lifetimes ago. Right now for me it's all about our music."

On Thursday, the Cubs defeated the Indians 8-7 during Game 6 at Progressive Field in Cleveland — the team's first World Series win since 1908, the longest period without a team win in the history of baseball. The team broke the same drought 71 years ago, five years before 66-year-old Murray was born.

Murray was present for Game 6, during which he was documented supporting the team with enthusiasm.
