Blake Clark Replaces Jim Varney in 'Toy Story 3'

If you're going to see Toy Story 3 in its opening weekend, you can expect to hear some familiar voices: Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Joan Cusack to name a few. But there is one new voice actor on the scene: Blake Clark, better known for working with Adam Sandler in movies like The Waterboy and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.

Though comedian Jim Varney voiced the Slinky Dog in the first two Toy Story films, he passed away in 2000 from lung cancer. Thus, Clark took over the character in the franchise's latest installment, so die-hard fans may notice a slight change in the dog's voice.

Still, the switch-up doesn't seem to have affected how much critics loved the third movie. Reviewers over at Slate magazine and Entertainment Weekly have called it the best Toy Story yet -- high praise, considering that both of the first films have 100% reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.
