Britney Spears (Bauer Griffin)Britney Spears' latest news is some that television fans will get excited about: The pop singer is getting some love on the series Glee. While it's unclear if Brit will actually be guest starring in the flesh, the show's creator Ryan Murphy said (via People.com), "We’re doing six Britney [Spears] songs. We’re paying tribute to her in a sort of fun and unexpected way."
The episode, called "Britney/Brittany," will be airing in September. And apparently since actor Matt Morrison didn't want to do a Britney-themed episode in the first place, his character Mr. Schuster will be refusing to participate in any of the songs. Love it.
