Carrie Prejean -- Fired from Miss California gig

One of the topless photos that so enraptured the Internet.
Donald Trump may have saved her the first time, but this time around it didn't seem to matter. Carrie Prejean is out as Miss California.

The controversial Miss California, who's view on gay marriage and topless photos rocked the Internet, has gotten the axe, reportedly for being difficult to work with.

From an article here at Zimbio:
In a reversal of fortunes for now-former-Miss California USA Carrie Prejean, the beauty queen lost her crown Wednesday. She's been accused by the pageant of skipping out on official appearances. Pageant owner Donald Trump told TMZ that Prejean has been outright mean to Miss USA officials.

"To me she was the sweetest thing. Everyone else -- she treated like s--t.," he told TMZ.

Prejean's official title was previously drawn into question when topless photos of the model appeared on the Internet. After consideration, Trump kept her on, obviously pleased with the publicity generated by his Miss USA runner-up.
