Poll of the Day: Who's the Most Talented 'Idol' Winner?

Though the latest American Idol finale was the least watched in the series' history, the Fox talent competition still destroyed everything else in the ratings this year. Which explains why current alliteration master champion Phillip Phillips has an enormous fan base.

Still, I don't think anyone expected the kid from Georgia to sell 278,000 digital copies of his debut single, "Home." That number falls just short of Kelly Clarkson's record-setting, "My Life Would Suck Without You," which was downloaded 280,000 times in 2009, making it the most-downloaded track from an Idol contestant. The 21-year-old clearly has talent, and an impressive following to boot. Question is: How does he stack up against former Idol winners like Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, and Jordin Sparks?

Three young stars with slightly recognizable names are reportedly in the running to play Finnick in Catching Fire. Asked to name the one you'd most like to see in the next installment of the Hunger Games trilogy, the majority of you chose Garrett Hedlund. With 539 days remaining before the movie hits theaters, you should have plenty of time to memorize his Wiki page, find a used copy of Tron: Legacy at a yard sale, and become his biggest fan.
