Following tonight's show, Underwood is the most awarded singer in the history of the CMT Awards.

This "All-American Girl" is now the biggest winner in CMT Music Awards history.

Major congratulations go out to Carrie Underwood, who ended Wednesday's awards show with a hefty 17 career wins. The singer, who met fame as the winner of Season 4 of American Idol, won both 2017's Female Video of the Year for "Church Bells," and Collaborative Video for "The Fighter" alongside Keith Urban.

"Thank you, God, for so many incredible blessings that we have in our lives...we are so grateful and we are so blessed," Underwood said at the time, following up with a brief shoutout to the Nashville Predators, who were competing against the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Stanley Cup Finals at the time.

Underwood and Urban also took to the stage on Wednesday to perform a soulful iteration of "The Fighter." 

The performance was subsequently named best of the night by Billboard.

The 2017 CMT Music Awards took place on Wednesday, June 7, and also featured performances by Blake Shelton, Brett Eldredge, Kelsea Ballerini, Thomas Rhett, Luke Bryan and Jason Derulo, Little Big Town, Charles Kelley, Jason Aldean and Darius Rucker, Brothers Osborne and Peter Frampton, Lady Antebellum and Earth, Wind & Fire, Miranda Lambert, and The Chainsmokers with Florida Georgia Line.
