Kanye West Is Hilariously Enraged at Jimmy Kimmel, Seriously Can't Take a Joke

(Getty Images)The sad, funny, human thing about Kanye West is that despite his sincere belief that he's truly shaking the world at its core, he is ridiculously sensitive. The rapper has curtailed what he shares with the public in the past few years for precisely this reason: He limits his chances to feel misunderstood by turning down interviews and limiting his Twitter actions to sheer promotion. Until someone sets him off, that is.

On Thursday night, that someone was Jimmy Kimmel, who earlier in the week ran a skit in which he put the words from Kanye's epic interview with the BBC into the mouths of babes.

The fairly innocuous skit worked because Kanye's statements, as always, were solid gold, but Kanye was deeply wounded. So wounded, he made himself a target yet again by tweeting up a storm of rage.

"JIMMY KIMMEL IS OUT OF LINE TO TRY AND SPOOF IN ANY WAY THE FIRST PIECE OF HONEST MEDIA IN YEARS," Kanye started. "JIMMY KIMMEL, I DON'T TAKE IT AS A JOKE…. YOU DON'T HAVE SCUM BAGS HOPPING OVER FENCES TRYING TO TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR DAUGHTER. JIMMY KIMMEL PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES … OH NO THAT MEANS YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TOO MUCH GOOD PU**Y IN YOUR LIFE…"

And it got better from there, with Kanye trying very hard to make mean jokes. Check out his hashtags, y'all.

"YOU CAN'T PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES. YOUR FACE LOOKS CRAZY… IS THAT FUNNY?… OR IF I HAD A KID SAY IT WOULD IT BE FUNNY???" He asked. "SHOULD I DO A SPOOF ABOUT YOUR FACE OR YOU FUCKING BEN AFFLECK… #NODISRESPECTTOBENAFFLECK #ALLDISRESPECTTOJIMMYKIMMEL!!!!"

Kanye, who apparently went to Kimmel's wedding, wrapped up with "SARAH SILVERMAN IS A THOUSAND TIMES FUNNIER THAN YOU AND THE WHOLE WORLD KNOWS IT!!!" and a couple of pictures intended to hurt Kimmel's feelings (both a little too profane for this post).

Given the "twerk fail" hoax Kimmel pulled earlier this month, some argued that West's ridiculous Twitter explosion was all an extremely well done joke. But then Kimmel addressed it on his show:

"Kanye West called me about an hour – hour and a half ago in my office. He is very angry because of a bit we aired this week," Kimmel explained.

"He told me I had two choices – number one, apologize publicly. And that was really the only choice – the other choice he gave was 'my life…your life is going to be much better if I apologize,'" Kimmel stated. He then proceeded to giggle as he read through the stream of Kanye's statements.

"By the way, he told me on the phone — and I swear to God this is true — he said 'I am the most powerful voice in media, I am Pac.' He said, 'I am Pac' a few times to me," Kimmel quipped. "He said, 'You will never be able to show your face at a 14-year-old's high school football game and be cool again.'"

"Finally I'm in a rap feud," a bemused Kimmel joked. "Thanks Kanye, appreciate it!"
