The Real Reason Why Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner Aren't in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show
Cara Delevingne was front and center at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show last year, and it's Kendall Jenner's "dream" to strut her stuff during the lingerie-rific event, but both girls have been noticeably absent from the festivities in London this time around.
Why? Well, there wasn't a gigantic model cat fight (that we know of, at least), but we do know Delevingne and Jenner are missing the VS show because they took another offer. Instead of shimmying down the catwalk in wild bras and panties, the gals are instead going the couture route in Karl Lagerfeld’s Métiers d’Art show in in Salzburg, Austria. Unfortunately for them, the events are both on Tuesday evening. An "insider" told People: “Kendall is Karl’s new girl and it’s a bold statement, because its been Kendall’s dream to walk in Victoria’s Secret. But she followed in her BFF Cara’s footsteps and took her advice to go with Karl."
Though you won't catch the gal pals in ridiculous hats when the VS show airs on TV Dec. 9, you can follow along with their European adventure on Instagram.
