Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Evans, and Robert Downey Jr. Visit 'Avengers' Fan Suffering From Cancer

Looks like Ironman and Captain America have worked it out for a good cause.

Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans Team Up to Surprise Mega-Fan With Cancer

Last we saw Ironman and Captain America, tensions were pretty high. Thankfully for Avengers fan Ryan, however, the actors behind these heroes are willing to come together for a great cause.

On Monday afternoon, actress Gwyneth Paltrow shared a pic of Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans visiting Ryan, a San Diego mega-fan currently battling cancer.

"Today @ryanwilcox0303 got a little surprise," she wrote alongside the three smiling men. "Thank you to the incredible #chrisevans and my better work half @robertdowneyjr for being the men you both are. And thank you to the Wilcox family for your hospitality! #ryanstrong."

As Fox 5 San Diego reports, this is Evans' second time interacting with Ryan; he previously sent the teen a video message that was played at his high school in El Cajon, California.

It was Paltrow who organized the meet-up, asking that her superhero friends meet Ryan over social media in early May.

Evans also expressed his appreciation for having met Ryan, as well as his respect.
