Nicolas Cage Helps Dad in Search to Find Missing Daughter
Britt Ramsey approached Cage's movie set in hopes to garner the star's support.
Nicolas Cage may just have taken his most important fan pic yet.
On Wednesday, the star was interrupted while shooting new film Dog Eat Dog near Cleveland. Britt Ramsey had a vital request for the actor, asking him to take a picture with his missing stepdaughter's picture and information. The fan hoped that Cage's celebrity status would drum up more interest in her case.
15-year-old Alexis Boroviak disappeared on Sunday, November 8 after heading outside to tie up the family dog. While authorities suspect Boroviak is a runaway, a lone teen missing for nearly two weeks is anything but minor and an Endangered Child Advisory has been issued.
It was an activist for the community, Angel Arroyo, who helped Ramsey onto Cage's closed set. Later, Arroyo made it clear this was anything but a stunt.
"We took the picture, [Nic] said he hopes for the best and good luck," he said. "He was truly a nice guy, nothing major. Just trying to do whatever we can to get her story out there."
According to Fox 8 Cleveland, "Alexis was last seen wearing a black hooded-sweatshirt, lavender pajama pants and gray Nike shoes. She may be wearing glasses."
