Jamie Lynn Spears' Daughter Maddie in 'Extremely Serious Condition' After ATV Accident

Maddie Aldridge, the 8-year-old daughter of Jamie Lynn Spears, is in serious condition after an ATV accident on Sunday, according to TMZ.

According to the site, Maddie was riding a Polaris ATV when it flipped unexpectedly. She was underwater "for several minutes and unconscious," and later air-lifted to a nearby hospital.

Spears was not present at the time of the accident.

Spears, who had Maddie when she was 17 years old, is best known for her role as Zoey Brooks in Nickelodeon's Zoey 101. She is the younger sister of pop sensation Britney Spears and the daughter of Lynne and Jamie Spears.
