It's pretty clear how we feel about the job Tina Fey and Amy Poehler did hosting the Golden Globes Sunday night. (Spoiler alert: They were awesome, duh.) But not every segment of the viewing public found their punchlines hilarious, particularly Taylor Swift fans who lack a sense of humor.
During the broadcast, as the hosts were kicking back cocktails, Fey set her sights rather harmlessly on Swift and her reputation for cycling through boyfriends as songwriting fodder. Referring to honorary Mr. Golden Globe Sam Fox, Fey advised Swift to avoid further romance and take some "me time."
"You know what, Taylor Swift? You stay away from Michael J. Fox's son," Fey quipped. While the crowd laughed — you know, because they can take a joke — Swift's followers showered Twitter with their insightful commentary. Needless to say, Fey didn't gain any fans in the coveted overly sensitive, tragically unfunny teen demographic last night:
