Getty ImagesToday in juicy celebrity news, Taylor Swift is now giving relationship advice to her fans, Nick Lachey is still hot, Jennette McCurdy claims she's NOT a role model, and more.

Taylor to the Rescue
While Taylor Swift doesn't exactly have the best track record when it comes to dating, the star has dished out a lengthy dose of relationship advice to one of her young fans. "There's a guy Taylor," Hannah (@sherbetswift) wrote to the songstress. "A guy who's sweet and charming and makes me laugh. A guy who said sorry for eating in front of me after finding out I had to skip breakfast. A guy who grew up across the street from me. A guy who plays guitar like me. A guy who was my first best friend."

But, turns out this dream dude already has an "amazing" girlfriend, so Hannah turned to TSwift for a lesson in love — and, she answered!

"Okay. About this guy," Swift wrote. "I think we grow up thinking the only love that counts as true love is the kind that lasts forever or is fully realized. When you have a broken heart, the first thing a stranger will ask is 'how long were you two together?' As if your pain can be determined by how long you were with someone. Or if you were with them at all. I don't think that's how it works."

"I think unrequited love is just as valid as any other kind," she added. "It's just as crushing and just as thrilling. No matter what happens in this situation, I want you to remember that what you are doing is selfless and beautiful and kind. You are loving someone purely because you love them, not because you think you'll ever have your affections reciprocated. You are admiring something for its beauty, without needing to own it. Feel good about being the kind of person who loves selflessly. I think someday you'll find someone who loves you in that exact same way."

Of course, Hannah flipped out over getting any response at all and excitedly wrote back: "You have no idea how much this means to me, thank you. I feel like you're the big sister I don't have. Thank you, I really did need to hear that from you."

Now, Hannah's day is totally made — even if her love life hasn't changed for the better — and we want to know if you think Swift has any business doling out advice when it comes to matters of the heart. We all know she can sing about lost love, but is she the next Dr. Phil?

She's NOT a Role Model
Do not call Jennette McCurdy a role model — at least don't do it anymore. She went off on Reddit about the issue this week. "I am not a role model. I don't claim to be, I don't try to be, and I don't want to be. There was a time when I tried to live up to the aggrandizing title, that pedestal of a thing. Maybe it wasn't so much that I was trying to live up to it. Perhaps I thought I could and I thought I was supposed to, so I gave it my best shot," she wrote.

"It's fine, I can admit it. Back in my adolescence, I was more amiable, bubbly, and on lightly humid days, maybe even flouncy. I was role model material and then some," she continued. "Fast forward a few years, I've grown up a bit (emphasis on 'a bit'). I might not be any wiser, but I like to think I'm more honest."

They say don't look for true love in a bar, well I say, don't look for role models on screens," she added.

Nick Lachey is Still Hot
Some boy banders hold up better than others, and we'll let you see for yourself how 98 Degrees star Nick Lachey is doing.

Khloe and French Start Talking
New couple Khloe Kardashian and French Montana just gave their first joint radio interview and, in true Kardashian fashion, they didn't hold back at all. For example, the reality star informed the world that she's "torturing" her boyfriend these days, because he's observing Ramadan and has to abstain from sex, among other things. Stuff like that. Other juicy tidbits: Puff (Sean Combs) hooked them up, French will appear on KUWTK this season, and he loves (and drinks with) Kris Jenner.

Presidential Present
Prince George turned one this week and he got all kinds of good presents, including one from President Obama. The gift? A custom-made rocking horse, complete with a toy polo mallet. It was made from a tree from that once stood on the White House's South Lawn and even carries the presidential seal, of course. It doesn't sound like the one-year-old has gotten to play with it though — the toy is on display at Buckingham Palace currently.
