Gwyneth Paltrow Says Chris Martin Is 'Like My Brother'
These friendly exes have a super confusing relationship.
The couple that famously went through a “conscious uncoupling” has now become totally platonic.
In the March issue of Glamour, Gwyneth Paltrow talked about her totally bizarre family dynamic with soon-to-be ex-husband Chris Martin. While the two famous exes have done a rather remarkable job of staying friends since announcing their split, their relationship has become rather confusing.
“We spend a lot of time together. He's been away for two weeks [promoting his album]. Last night he got in at midnight and slept here so he could surprise the kids in the morning, we could all have breakfast, and he could take them to school. So...we're not living together, but he's more than welcome to be with us whenever he wants. And vice versa: I sleep in his house in Malibu a lot with the kids. We'll have a weekend all together; holidays, we're together. We're still very much a family, even though we don't have a romantic relationship. He's like my brother,” stated Paltrow.
Well, whatever makes them happy! Paltrow and Martin have both moved on since their amicable split. Last August, Us Weekly reported that Martin began dating actress Annabelle Wallis, meanwhile Paltrow has been in a relationship with Brad Falchuk — the co-creator of Glee and Scream Queens — since August 2014.
When asked if she could see herself getting married again, Paltrow was quick to shut things down. “I don't know. I guess so. I mean, I believe in marriage. But I'm not even divorced yet! So give me a minute,” she said in the same interview with Glamour.
