Christina Ricci Faces Sheer Risk in Givenchy

Ricci: overpowered by the dress?
In the age of Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Beyoncé, a woman like Christina Ricci doesn't really have much of a reputation as one of fashion's risk-takers. Yet the petite actress is clearly not above sartorial experimentation, as evidenced by the difficult Givenchy dress she wore to a Tuesday evening event at New York's Museum of Modern Art.

Ricci stood bold in a sheer lace gown with a wispy, witchy train and potentially unflattering lines. The dress emphasized curves in unexpected places—namely the bottom portion of Ricci's bust.

Ricci put forth her best styling effort in black peep-toe platforms and classic dangling earrings, but all details were overshadowed by the power of the peek-a-boo.

What do you think—was this a good look for Christina?
