After Charlie Hunnam's Depature from 'Fifty Shades of Grey' What Will Happen to Dakota Johnson?

Fifty Shades of Grey might have lost Charlie Hunnam, but Dakota Johnson is still very much committed to her role as Anastasia Steele in the film adaptation of E.L. James' erotic novel.

Over the weekend, the Sons of Anarchy star abruptly dropped out of the project citing his TV schedule. However, multiple sources revealed that the actor couldn't quite handle the media frenzy and was determined not to be typecast, a situation Robert Pattinson found himself in with his role in Twilight.

In light of Hunnam's departure, many industry watchers wondered what would happen to Johnson, especially since the two were originally cast based on their on-screen chemistry. But as MSN Movies reports, the producers are set on Johnson. Their search for the film's male lead will be based on whether the new Christian Grey meshes well with her as opposed to the other way around.

Currently, Ian Somerhalder, Alexander Skarsgard, Alex Pettyfer, and Pattinson are Christian Grey potentials. But perhaps producers should probably get it right the second time around and go with the Internet's Matt Bomer suggestion.
