Drew Carey is the talk of the Internet after showing up at the CBS, Showtime and The CW TCA Party in Beverly Hills last night looking much slimmer than his usual self. The comedian revealed that he's lost 80 pounds since January after making a decision to live a healthier life.

He said (via People.com): "It sucks being fat, you know. I was diabetic with Type-2 diabetes."

But since taking up regular exercise and cutting carbs out of his diet, the 52-year-old is feeling better than ever. "I'm not diabetic anymore. No medication needed," he said.

Carey revealed that he drinks only water -- no coffee or soda -- and skips starches in favor of grilled chicken and veggies. He also gets in about 45 minutes of cardio a day, which has helped him reach his goal weight.

He added, "I like being skinny. I was sick of being fat on the camera. Really, I just got sick of it. Once I started losing weight, again, like once I started dropping a couple pant sizes, then it was easy 'cause once you see the results, then you don't wanna stop."
