Stone, who recently lightened her locks again, looked casually chic in khaki shorts, a black blouse, and a camel-colored peacoat. Garfield, meanwhile, looked dapper in an aubergine coat and skinny black jeans. The couple tried to go incognito in dark sunglasses, but there was no mistaking those famous faces as they wandered the streets of Manhattan.
Garfield recently spoke out about what it was like to don the famous Spider-Man costume for the very first time. "[I felt] very self-conscious, because you're practically naked. You're just all out there! And that's a really dangerous, brave, scary place to be," he told Perez Hilton. "But after that first flush you feel the power of it, the power of not being seen, the power of the mask. Peter [Parker] becomes witty when he's got that protective layer.”
And how did Stone do when she first saw her man in spandex? "I touched him! I was inappropriate! I literally felt him. Because being in the room with Spider-Man is insane for anybody, especially with that beautiful costume. It was palpable on set that everyone was in the room with the actual Spider-Man. It felt like a mirage."
