West is best known (now) as an R&B musician, but he's also done modeling work for brands such as the Italian clothing line Energie. He seemed perfectly at home in the front row at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.
Eric West was sitting with Top Chef Masters' Kelly Choi (who was rocking a sexy silver Zang Toi strapless dress) and ballet superstars Irina Dvorovenko and Maxim Belotserkovsky. Even Richard Thomas, aka 'John-Boy' from the Waltons, was there.
Zimbio: What brings you to the Zang Toi show this year?
Eric West: I came to Zang Toi last year too, and it was great. Zang Toi puts on really fun and eclectic shows. Last year's show was all about purple, like living inside the song 'Purple Rain'. I don't know what to expect tonight, but I'm looking forward to it.
Zimbio: You've done some modeling yourself. What's it like for you now, playing an entirely different role?
Eric West: It's better, definitely better. Now, in the audience, I can really just enjoy the experience.
Zimbio: Thanks Eric, enjoy the show.
