The fourth month of 2018 is already upon us. And, as usual, that means a new slate of Netflix content will replace some older stuff on the streaming site. Netflix is adding a pretty good crop of action thrillers in April, including Seven, Cold Mountain, Deep Blue Sea, Scarface, and Sin City. As for new releases, April won't be the greatest month but it will see the arrival of Despicable Me 3.

Netflix in April will also see the premieres of a few new Netflix Originals like the Lost in Space reboot and another reboot: The Magic School Bus Rides Again. But TV fans may be most excited for the return of Friday Night Lights to the streaming service. There was a lot of backlash when it was removed last October.

On a sadder note, all the '90s Batman movies will be leaving Netflix in April. And you can wave goodbye to American Pie, the Ace Ventura movies, Caddyshack, and The Shawshank Redemption. You'd better watch them quick before they disappear.

Netflix is slowly building a monster library of original content while paying less attention to other properties. The future of the streaming giant may be exclusive original content only. But only time will tell. For now we'll take what we can get. For a full breakdown of everything coming and going on Netflix in April 2018 read on.
