Fernando Alonso led a McLaren 1-2 in Sepang, the first time after Brazil 2005. Alonso and team mate Lewis Hamilton dealt crashing blows to Ferrari who started the race from P1 and P3. Both the McLarens  passed the Ferraris by turn 2 in the first lap itself and from then it was pretty much a race of pit shop strategies and hold back your opponents.
