Bindi Irwin Visits Sick Kids at Los Angeles Children's Hospital
"...next time I'll see if I can bring an animal."
Dancing with the Stars contestant Bindi Irwin wins more hearts every day, and frankly, she deserves them.
The 17-year-old proves time and time again that she's got her priorities in order, not least with a recent visit to Children's Hospital Los Angeles, an award-winning pediatric facility. After hearing from young fan Alex, who was all decked out in her cat costume for the occasion, Irwin made a special stop to see her on Friday.
"You are so beautiful, dear, I love your Halloween costume," she told her. Shortly afterward, the two shared a few animal jokes.
CHLA posted a video of the visit on their Facebook page over the weekend, stating that Alex was Bindi's biggest fan.
After the visit, Irwin said that it was "super emotional, but so beautiful," and laughed as she recounted many a request that she bring an animal along next time she stopped by.
On Monday's Dancing with the Stars, the ranger-turned-dance star will channel "fashion inspiration" Grace Kelly.
"I think that it's important to everyone, no matter what age you are, just to feel comfortable in your own skin, and rock it, and own it," she told E!
To watch her strut her stuff, tune in at 8 PM on ABC.
