Forget any preconceived notion you may have had about relationship goals, because Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell just defined the term.

In a heart-warming double star ceremony held on Thursday, the actors accepted side-by-side plaques on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The timing was especially appropriate, as Russell appears in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 on Friday and Hawn's first film in 15 years, Snatched, premieres May 10.

"People say, 'Gee, don’t you have one already?'" Hawn told Variety. "We never did."

"It's in connection with a movie, a promotion," Russell added. "I thought it would be fun together."

Hawn's daughter, actress Kate Hudson, spoke at her parents' ceremony, offering plenty of praise and big hugs. Friends of the family Reese Witherspoon and Quentin Tarantino were also in attendance.

For two incredibly storied actors, it's a surprise Hawn and Russell haven't received their stars until now. The two starred together in beloved '87 cult classic Overboard, and will celebrate their 34th anniversary this year.
