Isaiah Washington has formally apologized to T.R. Knight.  He has also agreed to help gay rights organizations publicize a message of tolerance. “He seemed very sincere in his interest in working with us in an ongoing basis,” said Kevin Jennings, executive director of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network. “We emphasized that this is not a one-shot deal, but an ongoing thing.
