Jaden Smith takes after his dad. The young actor and star of the upcoming remake of The Karate Kid showed some of his father's bravado on The Oprah Winfrey Show on Monday when Oprah asked him about his work on the movie.

"I did have my first on-screen kiss,” he said. “I’m good at kissing, so….It wasn’t as challenging as it could’ve been had I not had previous experience." Mother Jada Pinkett Smith looked embarrassed as Will Smith added, "See, this is why you need old school parenting."
The Karate Kid is due in theaters June 11. The movie tells the story of Dre Parker, who moves to China with his parents, but finds himself bullied and homesick before maintenance man Mr. Han, played by Jackie Chan, teaches him how to defend himself with karate.
