After months of rumors, actor David Boreanaz opened up to People magazine about how he strayed outside the bounds of his marriage to Jaime Bergman. The two have been married for nine years.

"Our marriage has been tainted with my infidelities," says the star of Bones. "I just want to be open and honest. I was irresponsible."
The reason Boreanaz is opening up now? He was being extorted. "I was associated with a woman who I was involved with and had a relationship with," he said. "She asked for money. I felt as though I was being blackmailed or there was some sort of extortion."
Bergman is a former Playboy Playmate of the Month, holding the honor for January of 1999. She and Boreanaz have two children, a son Jaden Rayne and a daughter, Bardot Vita.
