Newlyweds on the Red Carpet
Jamie Lynn Spears has been a missus for just a few weeks and she proudly showed off her new husband and new diamond wedding band on the red carpet at the Academy of Country Music Awards Sunday night in Sin City. The 23-year-old looked fantastic in a orange-printed mini dress and seemed happier than ever to boot.
Perhaps it had a little something to do with her new bling:
She and Jamie Watson tied the knot in mid-March in New Orleans in front of friends and family members and even a celebrity or two. Spears' daughter from a previous relationship, along with big sister Britney and her two sons, were in the wedding.
K-Fed is a Dad Again
Speaking of the Spears family, Britney's ex-husband Kevin Federline just welcomed his sixth child. Yes, sixth. K-Fed and wife Victoria Prince brought a little girl into the world Sunday. "Words cannot express the joy my children bring me," he wrote. "We are very excited to welcome the newest member of our family. I love you with all my heart, @crownv_16."
So far, they haven't released the name of their bundle of joy. But these two are already parents to daughter Jordan, 2, and Federline is dad to Sean and Jayden, his sons from his marriage to Spears, and Kori and Kaleb, his kids with ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson.
RIP, Peaches
Sad news from across the pond today: Socialite and model Peaches Geldof has passed away at the age of 25. So far, no information has been released about her cause of death. She was the daughter of Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates and was married to musician Thomas Cohen. They have two young sons. "We are beyond pain," said her father in a statement. "She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us."
Tim and Faith Forever
There have been plenty of devastating celebrity breakups over the last few years, but if Faith Hill and Tim McGraw ever call it quits, we'll seriously stop believing in love right then and there. These two have been married for 17 years (which is 48 lifetimes in Hollywood years) and have three daughters together. Plus, they tour together and are downright adorable. Here's proof of this from Sunday night's ACM Awards, where they sang McGraw's new single "Meanwhile Back at Mama's." Too cute.
No Bad Blood
Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom should teach a class on breaking up and actually staying friends/being reasonable/co-parenting well. These two called it quits months back and have done nothing but rave about each other in the press since. "He is a great dad and I feel really lucky to have him in my life," Kerr told Good Morning America today. "I think it's really important to have two happy parents and he is really happy and I am happy." Unreal.
Khloe's New Man?
Last week the rumors started flying about Khloe Kardashain kozying up with rapper French Montana, and now there's some video "evidence." The two walked out of the Pink Rhino strip club in Phoenix together this weekend and Mr. Montana's hand was draped over the reality star's shoulders. An innocent display of affection? Perhaps. Something more? Probably.
Confessions with Lindsay Lohan
Remember when the tabloids ran all of those stories about Lindsay Lohan drinking again after leaving rehab? Well, they were partially true. While Lohan said she wasn't back to her full-blown partying ways, she admitted on Sunday's episode of her reality show that she did have a single drink two months after her treatment. Now she's coming clean. “It took me a bit to be finally just be like, ‘Why am I holding this in? F*ck it. I’ve screwed up. I screwed up, and that’s okay. But now what can I do so it doesn’t happen again?” she explained.
Cute Kid of the Day
Today's adorable famous tot is Maxwell Johnson, Jessica Simpson's blondie. It doesn't get much cuter than this, even if she's eating a flower.
