Jessica Dovey, and Her Modified MLK Quote For Osama bin Laden

Here is the modified MLK quote that's generating so much buzz this week:
I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that. Martin Luther King Jr.
The first sentence was not written by or spoken by MLK (the rest was).  Instead it was added, allegedly by Jessica Dovey.  Dovey is a Twitter user who claimed credit for the modification after the quote went viral.  She wrote the post in response to news that the US government shot and killed Osama bin Laden.

More news about Osama bin laden's death:
Osama bin Laden is dead. The news about the terrorist leader's death in Pakistan was first reported tonight, and President Barack Obama will speak from the White House about the events that lead to his death momentarily.

NBC confirmed bin Laden's death, but it is unknown if a drone attack is responsible or some other kind of US military action. More information will be released by the president tonight, but it is known that the terrorist leader's body is in US possession.

Bin Laden was connected to various terror attacks before and after the September 11 attacks, and has been in hiding since 9/11, when over 3,000 people were killed. The Al Quada leader's death comes over 3,000 days after those 2001 attacks.
