Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake Celebrate Their Infamous Bromance With 'La La Land' Spoof at Golden Globes
The 2017 Golden Globes opening performance was all about the boys.
It's no secret Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon and singer Justin Timberlake are BFFs, but during the 2017 Golden Globes opening performance, they took that friendship to a new level.
Singing and dancing along with such stars as Arrival's Amy Adams and Kit Harington, Fallon sashayed his way into The Beverly Hilton after his limo "arrived late" to the event. Once inside, the Globes host ran into old friend Timberlake. Together, the couple embraced and floated up into a starry sky, a dreamy tribute to La La Land, which was nominated for seven Globes.
The performance referenced many major TV and movie events of 2016, including Jon Snow's near-death on Game of Thrones.
The kids of Netflix's Stranger Things also made a group appearance, performing a short rap.
In October of 2016, Timberlake visited Fallon on the Tonight Show to play the Best Friends Challenge, and in 2013, GQ published an article entitled "History of a Bromance: Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake."
Needless to say, this was a long time coming.
