The actress is officially an American, but is she really?

Emily Blunt became a U.S. citizen in early August, but she still has a long way to go when it comes to knowing some basic facts about Americans. The actress appeared on Tuesday night's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live and explained how the U.S. Citizenship Test is very difficult. In addition to renouncing the Queen of England, Blunt was asked if she was a “habitual drunkard” or if she had “ever been a prostitute.”

The funny actress shared that Camilla Alves, Matthew McConaughey's wife, was also present at the swearing-in ceremony, along with her own husband, actor John Krasinski.

“There was a wedge between us, I felt like,” Jimmy Kimmel said, referring to Blunt's British heritage. “I feel like you've accepted us. We always get the sense that when people come here from England, they kind of look down their noses at us.”

“Oh, we do! Very much,” Blunt joked. “Because we're better than you, but now I'm only half better.”

Kimmel then decided to give Blunt his own version of the test and watched in amusement as she failed miserably. The late-night host asked the really tough, important questions like “What are the giant refillable sodas at 7-Eleven called?” and what do MLB and DQ stand for?

The actress may have passed the real test, but her knowledge about everyday Americans could use some brushing up!

Blunt's movie Sicario will be released on October 2nd. Check out the full video of her on Kimmel below.
