As far as Mayer's shows go, this one was pretty uneventful. No crying, no apologizing, no fans pulled up on stage to sing with him.

Of course, that's not a big surprise. Mayer is always less controversial when he's playing music, rather than giving an interview. He laid low for awhile after his disastrous interview with Playboy (though so far it doesn't seem like Jessica Simpson has forgiven him for that).

But Mayer was spotted this week giving an interview discussing how he loves getting in trouble for his scandalous statements. Need more? According to John, Twitter is so over. Thanks for letting us know. In the meantime, keep playing that guitar.
