Palin 'Troopergate' Scandal

By JJ Duncan on
This morning the world was asking "who is Sarah Palin?" By the afternoon, people were asking "what is Troopergate?"That's because it turns out John McCain's seemingly unblemished choice for a running mate might have a big ugly ethical stain on her young political career. This whole thing is a big messy he-said she-said that reeks of a bad Jerry Springer episode. Let's break it down.Sarah Palin is accused of using her position as Governor of Alaska to pressure her Public Safety Commissioner...Read Full Story

Inmate to McCain: 'If You Are Reading This Then You Are Already Dead'

By JJ Duncan on
John McCain received a death threat today that resulted in a haz-mat scouring of his campaign offices in Centennial, Colo. The letter, sent by 38-year-old Arapahoe County Jail inmate Marc Ramsey began "If you are reading this then you are already dead."From there, the letter sounds like it got pretty strange. Only those who knew...Read Full Story

It was a simple proposition: John McCain and Barack Obama knew they would be answering roughly the same questions from Rev. Rick Warren at the Saddleback Church in California on Saturday, Aug. 16. McCain was to wait in what Warren referred to as a "cone of silence" while Obama answered his questions. He didn't.Instead, McCain ditched the cone of silence for his limo. And now some in the Obama camp are calling him a cheater because he could have prepared his answers before being interviewed by...Read Full Story

Barack Obama is 'The One' (Sorta Like Keanu Reeves)

By JJ Duncan on
At this point, I'm willing to concede that John McCain is hands-down winning the advertising battle. His latest TV spot is hilarious. In it, Barack Obama is like Keanu Reeves in "The Matrix." He's "The One."Unfortunately for the Republican nominee, this doesn't make me want to vote for McCain. It just makes me giggle. And maybe hit play again. My question: Why can't Obama make ads this funny? This ad ranks as Number 10 on Zimbio's Top Ten Political Ads. See the rest here !Read Full Story
