'War & Peace' Actor Callum Turner in Talks to Play Newt Scamander's Brother in 'Fantastic Beasts 2'
Jude Law has been cast as young Dumbledore while Johnny Depp will return as Grindelwald.
Before we heard Callum Turner was in talks to play Newt Scamander's brother in the upcoming Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them sequel, we hadn't realized just how much Turner and actor Eddie Redmayne look alike.
Truly, it is a thing to behold.
While the plot of the film is as yet unknown, the first movie briefly addressed Theseus' ongoing hunt for Grindelwald, who is exposed in the conclusion. The inclusion of the specific set of characters above is a strong indication a grand battle is in the works.
The second iteration in the franchise is also said to be significantly darker than the first, and will be shot in Paris, France.
Turner, 27, was last seen in Assassin's Creed and TV mini-series War & Peace, though his role in Fantastic Beasts would constitute a major break. He'll also star in summer drama The Only Living Boy in New York with Jeff Bridges.
Look out for Fantastic Beasts 2 in theaters November 16, 2018.
