Reviews for the new television series The Good Wife hit the Internet today, and Julianna Margulies is one woman who should be feeling pretty good about herself right now. Folks at The Hollywood Reporter wrote, "There could not be a better choice for the title role of Alicia Florrick than Margulies." The New York Times was just as complimentary: "The opening scene, which times the pace and soundtrack to the pounding heartbeat of Alicia’s shock and her sense of surreal detachment, is as vivid a depiction of personal crisis as any on television."

The Good Wife follows the story of Alicia Florrick (Margulies), a politician's wife whose life crumbles after her husband (Chris Noth) publicly admits to cheating on her and to misusing public money. With her husband behind bars, she must go back to work at a law firm to raise her two children.

The show airs Tuesday, 10 pm EST on CBS.
