Hate hate hate the idea of a Prince hologram showing up at Super Bowl LII? Dear reader, you are far from alone. According to TMZ, Justin Timberlake will bring in the hologram as a tribute to the late legend, who passed in 2016.

Alongside a whole lot of fireworks, "Prince" will reportedly perform next to Timberlake during the halftime show, and fans are already up in arms.

Some fans were especially confused given Prince's reported discord with the "Can't Stop the Feeling!" singer.

In 2006, Prince reportedly said "For whoever is claiming that they are bringing sexy back, sexy never left!" at a post-Emmy awards event. The comment was taken as a jab toward Timberlake, whose song "SexyBack" was released that same year.

In J.T.'s second studio album, Shock Value, he seemed to clap back at the legend with popular single "Give It to Me," in which he sings "Now if sexy never left, then why is everybody on my s**t?"

To be fair, even if this is all entirely accurate, it seems like a light jab between colleagues. Anyone calling this a full-fledged "feud" would be reaching.

Still, the consensus on the decision seems to be a resounding "heck no."
