Star Trek: Discovery actor Anthony Rapp claims House of Cards star Kevin Spacey made a sexual advance toward him when he was 14 years old, according to a bombshell report from Buzzfeed published Sunday night.
Rapp, also known for Rent, told the site Spacey took a liking to him in the mid-eighties while they were both on Broadway. After Spacey invited Rapp to his home for a get-together, Spacey waited for the rest of the attendees to leave, found Rapp in an empty bedroom and "picked Rapp up, placed him on his bed, and climbed on top of him, making a sexual advance."
Rapp was 14 at the time. Spacey was 26.
As years went by, Rapp said he grew increasingly angry with what had happened.
"My stomach churns," the actor told the site. "I still to this day can't wrap my head around so many aspects of it. It's just deeply confusing to me."
Rapp goes on to claim Spacey also took he and other underage boys to clubs, and provides a detailed account of the night Spacey allegedly attempted to assault him.
"The older I get, and the more I know, I feel very fortunate that something worse didn't happen," Rapp said. "And at the same time, the older I get, the more I can't believe it. I could never imagine [that] anyone else I know would do something like that to a 14-year-old boy."
Spacey, who hosted the 2017 Tony Awards in June, has yet to respond to the allegations.
