Kirsten Dunst Accidentally Got Super High While Filming 'Woodshock'
"I was crying, laughing, eating a peanut butter sandwich. They sent me home!"
No one said starring in a trippy stoner-chic movie would be a piece of cake!
On Tuesday night, Kirsten Dunst stopped by Jimmel Kimmel Live to promote her latest movie, Woodshock, and revealed a bizarrely hilarious anecdote about her filming experience. Rodarte founders Kate and Laura Mulleavy made the upcoming thriller which is as richly infused with fashion as it is with cannabis.
Dunst, however, was not expecting a real joint to be mixed in with the rolled prop joints. "I wasn’t eating that much at the time, and so after we were done with the scene, I go back to this little bedroom to rest, and I started to feel like I was losing my mind," Dunst explained. "I went to the bathroom. I’m pacing. I’m shaking. I’m hot. I’m just flipping out."
After talking to a producer on set, Dunst realized that she was stoned out of her mind. "We’re talking about Humboldt weed," the actress stated, referring to the stoner-friendly California location where Woodshock was filmed. "I was crying, laughing, eating a peanut butter sandwich. I couldn’t film anymore! They sent me home!"
Watch Dunst recall her bad trip in full detail and then hit the comments to dish and discuss your thoughts about her anecdote.
