'Arrow' Actor Colton Haynes Will Guest Star on 'Scream Queens' Season 2
Here's something to scream about.
In what might just be the most proper fit known to television, Arrow star Colton Haynes has committed to a guest appearance on FOX's Scream Queens.
The spoofy horror show stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Niecy Nash, and Abigail Breslin. Created by American Horror Story's Ryan Murphy, the series began filming season 2 on July 19.
Haynes, 28, announced his upcoming appearance via Instagram on Friday.
"Very excited to share the news :)" he wrote. "Cant wait to start work on Scream Queens Season 2!!! :)"
Haynes is an incredibly popular figure amongst fans of The CW for reasons most aptly illustrated by the image below.
He's also just a really cool person.
In early May, the actor formally shared that he's gay via a story in EW:
"People want you to be that GQ image that you put out, but people don’t realize what it’s like to act 24 hours a day. I’d go home and I was still acting," he told the site. "People who are so judgmental about those who are gay or different don’t realize that acting 24 hours a day is the most exhausting thing in the world."
Last we saw the Scream Queens, we'd finally discovered that Hester, (Michele) was the face behind the homicidal devil that had been wreaking havoc on Wallace University. Chanel (Roberts), Chanel #5 (Breslin), and Chanel #3 (Billie Lourd), meanwhile, had been admitted to a uniquely fabulous hospital for the unhinged.
No details quite yet on the nature of Haynes' role, but we wouldn't be surprised if he took on one of the show's token fratty bros.
