As far as codenames go, Renegade is pretty badass. That's Barack Obama's Secret Service codename: Renegade.

As for the rest of the fam:

In case you're wondering, we aren't giving away any "sensitive" information here. The codenames are totally nonsecret. It's a holdover from when electronic communications weren't routinely encrypted. Now they only exist so Secret Service dudes can feel all cool and mysterious whispering "Renegade" into a wrist watch.

According to Wikipedia, the White House Communications Agency chooses codenames that are easy to communicate and understand while avoiding commonly-used words or words that could be easily mistaken. (Which makes them perfect S&M safewords. In fact Ronald Reagan is rumored to have used codename Rawhide whenever playing rough with Nancy.)

In case you're curious, here are a few other codenames.

Who do you think has the coolest Secret Service codename? Vote here.
