Jim Carrey, 'The Grinch'
After The Mask, Jim Carrey swore off prosthetic work, but he relented in 2000 to star as Dr. Seuss' iconic Christmas bad guy, the Grinch. The role required four hours of makeup and prosthetic work daily for almost five months. The actor didn't enjoy the makeup, but he revealed the contact lenses were the worst. "They really push you over the edge."
