According to the Wall Street Journal, the final three were cooking up a storm in LA's Union Station, preparing three very special dishes. The first was supposed to be inspired by their first food memory, the second by how they decided to become a chef, and the third by how they see themselves in the present-day. No pressure or anything.

Samuelsson paid tribute to his Swedish and African roots with his menu, which included smoked char, a foie gras flan, and hamachi meatballs. He won a score of 17.5 from the judges, narrowly winning over Lee, who earned 17 points.
