Mick Jagger Never Hit on Katy Perry When She Was Barely Legal, Says Mick Jagger

(Getty Images)more pics »In an interview with an Australian radio station earlier this week, Katy Perry opened up about the time she went to dinner with Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger back in 2004, when she was a barely legal babe of 18.

Perry, who contributed backing vocals on Jagger's song "Old Habits Die Hard," confirmed that the singer "hit on" her, but was quick to defend him. "That was a long time ago, and he's been very kind," she explained. She then joked that she avoided sleeping with him by offering up one of her friends as a sacrifice.

Within hours, Mick's publicist had a statement: "Mick Jagger categorically denies that he has ever made a pass at Katy Perry. Perhaps she is confusing him with someone else."
