Listen: Miley Cyrus and The Flaming Lips' Cover 'Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds'

(Getty Images)The Flaming Lips and Miley Cyrus debuted their cover of the Beatles' "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds" at Cyrus' show in Manchester, England this week, and it's... colorful.

Apparently the pair performed the song not once, but three times — presumably because for the Billboard Music Awards. After the take filmed below, Cyrus cursed, "We're gonna do that again because I f**ked that s**t up. I'm the only woman in the world that could f**k up the f**king Beatles."

A studio version of the song will appear on With a Little Help From My Fwends, a song-by-song remake of Sgt. Pepper featuring guest appearances by Sean Lennon, MGMT, Moby, and more.

Once upon a time I might have been excited about this (certainly, the glitter explosion is mesmerizing in its own right), but then Wayne Coyne fired his drummer of over a decade for voicing his opinion, put a Native American headdress on a dog, and offered a "sorry if you were offended" apology after the story broke. Nah. Not feeling the love for this so much.
