Cara Delevingne Is Gorgeous and Terrifying as 'Suicide Squad's' Enchantress
Delevingne's got the death stare down.
In the world of DC Comics, The Enchantress (June Moore) is known as a super-villain with a split personality and a whole lot of inner conflict. We haven't seen much of her in modern flicks, but that's about to change, as model/actress Cara Delevingne is bringing the mystic maven straight to theaters.
Upcoming flick Suicide Squad will feature The Enchantress in all of her dark glory. During a recent interview, Delevingne, 23, told Empire that her character is "an ancient sorceress; a feral being. She's been trapped for so long and now she's finally let out.
"June is an adventure-seeker who's always wanted some excitement. And she gets what she wished for, in an terrible way."
Here's the magazine's cover, providing us our first glimpse at The Enchantress.
Jared Leto's Joker, who will accompany The Enchantress, also appears on the magazine's cover, brandishing a scary electro-weapon and enough ink for an essay on a psychopath not unlike the character himself.
Margot Robbie, Will Smith, Ben Affleck, and Jai Courtney will also appear alongside Delevingne and Leto, qualifying SS as a truly star-studded film.
Suicide Squad hits theaters August 5, 2015.
