Now that 30 Rock is coming to a close, Tina Fey is ready to sink her teeth into a new project... well, maybe not that new.
Before winning Best Actress in a Comedy Series at Sunday's SAG Awards, Fey was asked about turning 2004's Mean Girls into a musical. "We want to [do it]. I would love to," she told E! on the red carpet. "I'm trying to develop it with my husband, who does all the music for 30 Rock, and I think paramount's onboard." Sounds like Mean Girls the Musical has a better chance of happening than "fetch."
Which makes us wonder: Will Lindsay Lohan be reprising her role? With more arrests than hit movies in the last five years, she certainly needs it more than Amanda Seyfried, Rachel McAdams, or Lizzy Caplan. Unfortunately, there's the whole singing aspect of a musical, and we know LiLo has a hard time with that.
