If You Loved 'A Christmas Prince,' You Need to Know About Netflix's Newest Holiday Flick ASAP
Good news for 'The 100' fans: Eliza Taylor stars!
A Christmas Prince is this season's Netflix obsession, famous for being so bad it's good. Stuffed to the (stocking) brim with cheesy lines and sappy fantasy, the movie is proof Netflix has perfected the recipe for the ultimate holiday romance. Forgive our excitement, then, that another flick of the same vein is on its way: It's time to celebrate the impending arrival of Christmas Inheritance.
Starring The 100's Eliza Taylor, the film tells the story of heiress Ellen Langford (Taylor), whose father asks her to deliver a Christmas card to his former business partner in the town of Snow Falls. After she arrives, she's snowed in by a storm. Forced to extend her stay in the tiny town, this big city girl eventually discovers "the true gift of Christmas."
In case this hasn't already made your "must watch" list, Christmas Inheritance also stars familiar faces like Jake Lacy (The Office, Girls), Golden Globe winner Andie MacDowell, Michael Xavier (Rookie Blue), and Ben Rosenbaum (When Calls the Heart).
Netflix users can view the trailer now.
On Sunday, Dec. 10, Netflix seemed to poke fun at itself, acknowledging the silliness of A Christmas Prince while pointing out its insane popularity.
"To the 53 people who've watched A Christmas Prince every day for the past 18 days," the service wrote on Twitter, "Who hurt you?"
The rest of Twitter was quick to join in on the fun.
Here's hoping Christmas Inheritance has the same influence.
Catch it on Netflix on December 15.
