Céline Dion And Ryan Reynolds Prove They Are Canada's Gift To The World In New 'Deadpool 2' Music Video
Truly, a music video for the ages.
Let's get on thing straight: Céline Dion will be upstaged by no man – even if that man happens to be Ryan Reynolds.
In a gloriously unexpected move, we've learned the Canadian superstar will be featured on the Deadpool 2 soundtrack.
The song "Ashes" is best described as a signature Dion emotive power ballad. Though, it's the song's cheeky music video – which features a high-heels-wearing Deadpool and a stunning Dion sharing a stage – that's bringing down the house.
And, while we highly doubt it's actually Reynolds under that suit (those high-kicks were just a little too high), we do get to hear a hilarious little exchange between the two Canadian entertainers:
Deadpool: Céline, that was amazing. That was the most beautiful performance I've ever seen in my life.
Céline: Thank you so much, thank you.
Deadpool: No, no, thank you. We need to do it again.
Céline: OK. Why?
Deadpool: Well, it's too good. This is Deadpool 2, not Titanic. You're at like an 11. We need to get you down to a five, five-and-a-half tops, just phone it in.
Céline: Listen, this thing (*points to self*) only goes to 11, so beat it Spider-Man.
Deadpool: God, I should've asked *NSYNC.
