WATCH: Taylor Swift Sings with Nelly (the Rapper) in St. Louis

Taylor Swift's St. Louis fans got a real treat Tuesday night when the blonde starlet was joined by Nelly — "Hot in Herre" Nelly — on stage. The unlikely pair sang his new song "Porsche" in front of the packed crowd and it was quite a performance.

After the show, both stars tweeted about the experience. Swift wrote on Twitter: “St Louis, you were insanely loud and fun and amazing. Thanks for coming, guys. And a huge thank you to @Nelly_Mo for coming out to sing!!!”

He responded: “anytime lillady!!!!Keep swervin on Dem!!!”

And Nelly also posted a funky Instagram collage about the night. He wrote with this pic: "This is how my day went yesterday !!! S/O to @taylorswift @taylorswift13 for rockin DaLOU 2 nites back to back!"

A fan also captured a sweet Instagram shot of the duet.

While the country star and rapper do seem like an unusual pairing, this isn't the first time they've teamed up. Nelly sang with TSwift for his hit "Just a Dream" during a stop on her "Speak Now" tour in 2011 in Houston. Plus, remember Nelly teamed up with Tim McGraw for "Over and Over" in 2004 so he has a long history of collaborating with country stars.
